Every mission on this site is a planning starting point, not a finished itinerary. The briefing tells you the shape of a good trip — the terrain, the rhythm, what to book first, who it suits — but the on-the-ground conditions are yours to verify.
The match score reflects how well the mission fits what you told us about yourself. A high score on pace means the effort level aligns; a high score on season means the timing is right for conditions. A lower sub-score is a flag to read that section carefully.
The itinerary inside a mission is deliberately loose. 'Explore' means a day doing the main thing in the region — it's not a prescribed route. We intentionally avoid prescribing exact paths because conditions change, and a route that was accurate when we wrote it might not be when you go.
The one thing you should always do before booking: check the safetyNote and seasonalNote sections against current official sources for that destination. They're our honest assessment of the main variables — but local knowledge and current conditions will always trump anything we write.
